Developed the backend infrastructure and a fully responsive fleet management tool for one of Italy’s leading real-time scooter rental platforms. The company provides short-term and long-term scooter rentals through a network of local partners, offering a seamless booking experience via its mobile and web apps. My work involved designing scalable APIs, integrating real-time booking tracking, status updates for vehicles, and building a robust dashboard for rental partners to manage availability, maintenance, and customer interactions efficiently.

Key Contributions

• Material-UI feel: Built the front end in Bubble.io with custom HTML/CSS/JS for a Material UI-like experience.

• Built for scalability: Developed an integrated search function that enables users to find and book flights, hotels, and car rentals quickly and efficiently.

• Real-time interaction: Enabled real-time vehicle availability via WebSockets and async workers.

• Secure Payment Gateway: Integrated a secure payment gateway via Stripe to ensure that all transactions are safe and user data is protected.
